The researcher
I’m Jasmine Ramientas, an independent researcher based in Melbourne.
This site brings together my papers and public writing. Over time, it will also become a space to explore their arguments, evidence, and connections interactively.
I am committed to making my work understandable to ordinary readers, not only specialists. You should not need an academic background to follow the question, understand the argument, or see what is at stake.
That means explaining unfamiliar terms, making the reasoning visible, and connecting abstract claims to lived examples, without flattening the ideas or asking you to accept them on authority.
